The Spiti Valley Bike Expedition tour - presented by Tony Bike Centre, spanning 10 days and 9 nights, is a thrilling journey for hardcore  travellers to ride through the rugged terrains of the Himalayas. Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley situated high in the Himalayas in the northeastern region of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.This trip is full of snowy mountains , lakes with serene beauty , high altitude deserts , dramatic gorges , scenic villages , peaceful monasteries  , learning about the ancient Buddhist culture and all that while riding the bike through one of the world's most challenging terrains.

The tour starts from Delhi taking you through  Solan, Rampur, Kalpa, and Kaza, leading all the way to the Spiti Valley. Along the way, rough patches, snowy passes, and  valleys, arriving at your destination will offer a new adventure at every turn.Throughout the trip, you will visit iconic places such as Key Monastery, Chandertal Lake, Nako Village, and the world's highest post office in Hikkim, among many others.If you love cold then it's time to break free from the monotony of daily life, pack your bags, and embark on this epic adventure.

TOUR  INCLUDES :  

·  Bike/SUV/Tempo Traveler from Delhi to Delhi (as per package).

·  Bikes available only for the fixed itinerary, not for free rides.

·  Fuel for the entire tour (as per package).

·  Tour leader on his bike to lead the group.

·  Experienced Royal Enfield Mechanic with spare parts and tools.

·  Spare parts, engine oil, and bike damages are chargeable.

·  Backup car for groups with more than 10 bikes.

·  10 nights/9 days accommodation on twin/triple sharing in standard hotels/tents/camps from Day 01 in Solan to Day 09 in Chandigarh. Double rooms for married couples only. Accommodation may be split in nearby hotels during the heavy Spiti season.

·  Meals (Breakfast & Dinner) from Day 01 dinner in Solan to Day 10 breakfast in Chandigarh. Meals provided at hotels or eating joints en route, not necessarily in major towns.

·  Inner line permits for restricted/protected areas (Indian nationals only). Permit cost changes payable by travelers.

·  One bag (max. 30 ltr) per bike can be kept in the vehicle in hill areas (with more than 10 bikes), rest tied on bikes. No suitcases; maximum luggage recommended is 60 ltr.

·  Each bike should have a bag tied to its luggage carrier to ensure riders have basic necessities in case the backup car is delayed by traffic jams, natural calamities, breakdowns, or landslides.

·  Basic first aid kit provided; bring personal medications.

·  Helmets for rider and pillion rider.

 

   TOUR EXCLUDES:

·  Own bikes.

·  Bike security deposit.

·  5% GST.

·  Bikes strictly as per itinerary, not for local or free day rides.

·  Day 00 accommodation (can arrange at economical rates, subject to availability).

·  Spare parts, engine oil, or bike damages during the tour.

·  State government or local bike entry charges.

·  Transporting the bike if rider leaves tour midway.

·  Inner line permits for foreign nationals.

·  No air tickets included.

·  Personal fares for air, bus, taxi, or jeep.

·  No pick-up or drop-off at airports, railway stations, or bus stands.

·  State fees, tolls, parking, traffic fines, and local entry charges.

·  Personal expenses: tips, extra meals, alcohol, mineral water, laundry, optional tours, medical expenses, phone calls, entrance fees to monuments/forts/monasteries, camera fees, guide fees, etc.

·  Personal, accidental, or medical insurance and related expenses.

·  Additional costs due to natural calamities, landslides, or road blockages beyond our control.

·  Unpredictable weather conditions and political tensions may affect the itinerary if the tour is extended / diverted or terminated before the ending date then in such case TONY BIKE CENTRE / it’s associated partners/ hotel owners/ cab owners will not be responsible for it any resulting additional costs are the client's responsibility.

·  Excludes any items not specified in this document.

Day 1: Delhi to Solan (295 km)

Starting the journey from Delhi , going through the busy streets and then the greenery , reaching the town of Solan . Upon arrival explore the Mohan Shakti Heritage Park as well as stroll through the mall road , stay in the hotel for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Solan to Rampur (160 km)

Moving from Solan , as we move , passing through beautiful landscape of Shimla & Kufri , could even stop amazing views from Hatu Peak in Narkanda , on the way to Rampur , the Sutlej river has its own uniqueness.

Day 3: Rampur to Kalpa (110 km)

Now riding along the Sutlej river towards Kalpa and then going through the town of Saharan before entering in the eye catching Kinaur Valley , then just before reaching Kalpa , the Kinnaur Kailash(7550 ft.) peaks emerge large. In Kalpa, get to see the breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and orchards

Day 4: Kalpa to Nako (100 km)

Navigating from Kalpa , see the confluence of the Spiti and Sutlej Rivers. Explore Nako's serene lake and ancient monastery with the village in Nako offering a glimpse into the life of Spitian people.

Day 5: Nako to Kaza (110 km)

Riding from from Nako to Kaza , continuing to Dhankar, where the monastery and fort offer inspiring views. Arriving in Kaza,  go through the vibrant market and local culture of this Spiti Valley hub.

Day 6: Kaza Local Sightseeing

After having breakfast , visit the spiritual heart of Spiti Valley with visits to Key Monastery and Kibber Village. Also travel to Langza Village & Hikkim, the world's highest post office. These destination provides high altitude life glimpse and spirituality.

Day 7: Kaza to Chandertal Lake (90 km)

Going towards Chandertal Lake , get to cross the majestic Kunzum Pass with amazing landscapes & adventurous riding. So , then either stay in hotel or camp by the Chandertal Lake in swiss camps.

Day 8: Chandertal Lake to Manali (120 km)

Ride from Chandertal to Manali, seeing the scenic beauties of Rohtang Pass then moving into the Kullu Valley , explore the town of Manali , visiting markets & temple.

Day 9 : Manali to Chandigarh

Begin the ride from Manali to Chandigarh, enjoying the scenic beauty of the Kullu Valley and  green hills. Arrive in Chandigarh and explore the city’s attractions. Rest for the night in the city.

Day 10 :Chandigarh to Delhi (250 km)

Finally , the final leg of your journey from Chandigarh to Delhi. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in Chandigarh before riding back to Delhi, reflecting on the incredible experiences encountered on your Spiti Valley adventure.

·  Minimum rider age: 21 years.

·  Minimum 10 riders required to start tour (on TBC bikes).

·  Tour may be cancelled if fewer than 10 riders; affected riders can join nearest available tour or receive full refund.

·  Leaving tour midway incurs transportation costs from departure point to Delhi.

·  Riders must have proper riding gear to join.

·  Hotel check-in time is 12 noon; early check-in depends on room availability.
